Motion to not read the minutes by Rex – accepted majority
Approval of Previous Minutes: Accepted as printed
Treasurers Report
• Review of the Treasurers report.
• (Rex) Motion to accept the Treasurers Report for September. Majority
Report of the Executive Board
• None
Fundraising:
• New Fundraiser by signing up with GA Natural Gas. Will publish details in DSA today on how to sign up. $5 per family will go to the school.
• Kids Stuff coupon book – offers a variety of items for young kids and provides great discounts. Sells for $25 and DSA will receive 50% profit.
• Question about using Krispy Kreme or Honey Baked Ham. Ideas were requested at the last meeting. Please email Rex if you have any ideas so the board can research them. These suggestions will be researched for the next meeting.

Old Business:
• None
New Business
• Board approved the purchase of 2 flat screen televisions. They will display images from the art department and other shows. They will also have the ability to upload images.
• Question regarding purchased by the PTSA, what happens to these items if the school moves to another location. Property acquired by the school must be donated to the school system if the school moves to another location.
• Just for Friends – board will place a card box back in the main office for parents to log their volunteer hours as a backup to Just for Friends. Additional info will be sent via DSAWeekly.
