Updates and reminders
Bravo and applause to directors, cast, and crew of our spring musical “In the Heights”!!! The students and staff hard work certainly showed through this amazing production. Thanks as well to all the great parent volunteers who assisted with box office, concessions, spirit wear, back stage supervision, and parking lot patrol! Many more parents assisted with set constructions, props, and costumes.
Best wishes for a restful and productive spring break! See you April 13 to finish out the last 6 weeks of school – it will fly by!!!
As spring is “springing”, please review dress code expectations, especially for our young ladies: dresses, shorts, and skirts must be fingertip length, tops must cover cleavage, leggings or tights without a long enough top (fingertip length) are not appropriate. Some items of clothing may be “out grown” since last worn in the fall. If your child is not dressed appropriately, they will call home for change of clothes or wear substitute apparel provided by the school. They will not be allowed in class dressed inappropriately.
Spring Break Plans: We will be fully engaged in instruction through 3:20 pm on April 3. No early checkouts, but please… parents….please, make sure your child is off campus by 4 pm so all the DSA hardworking faculty and staff may start their spring break as well! Students on campus after 4 pm will need to be picked up from an alternative location.
Yearbook Forever
There’s a great new way to show our school spirit! On Walsworth Yearbook’s new site, you can buy this year’s yearbook. I showed my school spirit, and you should too. Just go to the website and have fun!
