DSA speakers at Board of Education meeting tomorrow!

Be sure to turn your TV to channel 24 tomorrow between 5:45 and 7:00.  During the Public Comments section of the Board of Education meeting, DSA parents/advocates, Nwandi Lawson and Phil Polk, will speak on behalf of our school.  They will make a case for DSA to receive SPLOST V money to address the numerous problems with our arts spaces.  Here is the letter (online or download) that PTSA and School Council sent to DCSD regarding these issues.

Updates and Reminders:

Hard copies of the October PSAT have still not arrived in our building. This delay is coming from College Board. Some students have not been able to access their scores through their College Board account, but most have. Rest assured, as soon as the paper copies arrive in our building, we will distribute students ASAP. Thank you for your patience.
Latest time to check out students is 2:30.
A reminder that End of Course Tests  (EOC) will count 20% of a students’ grade at the end of the semester. EOC courses are Biology, Physical Science, Coordinate Algebra/Accelerated Coordinate Algebra, Coordinate Geometry/Accelerated Geometry, 9th and 11th Grade Literature, US History, Economics. Student must be continually practicing and reviewing the material in these 8 classes as the assessments are comprehensive.
