Updates and Reminders

*After April 30, DSA will only accept cash or money orders for payment of fees, lost textbooks, SPA tickets, etc.
*DCSD is asking for input for the 2nd phase of E-SPLOST V planning.  Take the online survey HERE .  Voting takes place on May 24.
*During the last 6 weeks of school, DSA students will participate in many standardized assessments.  Continue to encourage students to be ON TIME so that testing sessions may begin ON TIME.  Please plan accordingly.
*Also, during this last 6 weeks of school, please be patient with staff returning phone calls and emails.  Teachers, administration, and counselor will be focusing on student assessment, master schedule development, and monitoring instruction.  We will return phone calls and emails within 48 business hours- to the best of our ability.  Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
*Yearbooks will be delivered soon.  Still time to purchase.  $70 from Mr. Yawn (Room 216) or purchase online HERE
*Now available for purchase:  The Scribbler.  DSA’s very own literary magazine, compiled by the Creative Writing Department.  Get yours now-only $12.00.  Hurry to room 301 to get your very own copy of the First Edition!

Please see the 2016-2017 Dekalb School of the Arts PTSA Slate of Officers below.  The formal election will be held at the PTSA General Meeting on April 18.  Only paid members of the PTSA will be allowed to vote. ANTS RUN FOR THE ARTS
