Updates and Reminders:
*DCSD E-SPLOST V VOTE is on the May 24th ballot. Click HERE for information on the local sales tax referendum.
*End of Course (EOC) and End of Grade (EOG) assessment scores are starting to arrive. Rosters and reports are being delivered to teachers as soon as they are accessible. ELA and math assessments which required student constructed responses take longer to score, as do the assessments taken via paper/pencil rather than online (DSA tested about 60% of EOC assessments online). Full student score report information is forthcoming.
*EOC scores will count as 20% of a student’s final grade for Spring Semester.
*Georgia Department of Education has waived the promotion requirement for students in grades 3, 5, & 8 due to online testing issues exeperienced. DSA 8th grade students all tested via paper/pencil. For more information on the waiver, click HERE
*From June 6 to July 29, DCSD schools and offices will operate on a compressed work week. All sites will be closed on Fridays. DSA summer office hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm. Schools and offices will be closed July 4.
