Co-President: Terrell Hope is excited to serve as PTSA Co-President at DeKalb School of the Arts. With a background in communication, leadership, and community engagement, Terrell brings a passion for amplifying voices and building strong connections. His past roles have centered on fostering collaboration, supporting youth development, and creating inclusive spaces that empower families. As the parent of an incoming junior, he looks forward to working alongside the DSA community to help shape a supportive and engaging environment for students, parents, and staff alike.

Co-President: Christopher Bivins is honored to continue serving on the PTSA board this year and looks forward to expanding its impact within the DSA community. As the father of a junior involved in Visual Arts, Creative Writing, and Film & Media, he is dedicated to supporting teachers in creating meaningful opportunities and ensuring students have access to them, further enhancing an already exceptional school. His professional background includes a career as an architect specializing in higher education projects, as well as service on the board of Covenant House Georgia.

Co-Vice President: Corny Delasalas works for AT&T as part of their national outside network planning team. He also volunteers with SoPo Bikes, a nonprofit community bike shop, where he enjoys repairing bikes for kids. In his free time, Corny loves rock climbing and is on a journey to become a proud plant dad. He’s a parent to two 10th graders this fall—Dirk, who will attend Druid Hills High School, and Solis, who is excited to join the DSA community. Corny is looking forward to supporting DSA and helping grow the DSA family.

Co-Vice President: Keith Smith, a longtime resident of DeKalb County, is enthusiastic about contributing to the DSA community and supporting its continued growth. This year, he will serve as the liaison for the volunteer coordinator, helping to strengthen engagement and encourage participation throughout the school.

Co-Vice President: Christine Mattson serves as a co-Vice President for the DSA PTSA for the 2025-2026 school year. Her daughter is in 10th grade and her major is Creative Writing and her minor is Drama. Christine will be the liaison to the committee organizing spirit wear sales and is excited to explore new opportunities to engage with our DSA community and support our students and teachers.

Treasurer: Tina Williams serves as Treasurer of the Parent Teacher Student Association at DSA. With a background in legal operations and extensive experience across operations, account management, sales, and product, she brings strong organizational and financial leadership to support the PTSA’s mission. Tina is passionate about fostering an inspiring and supportive environment where students and families can thrive. She is the parent of a DSA sophomore.

Secretary: Tammy Brown is the proud mother of Jayde Symone Brown, a rising sophomore dance major at DeKalb School of the Arts. A dedicated educator with 19 years of service in Atlanta Public Schools, she holds a specialist degree in Instructional Technology. Tammy is also an entrepreneur with a strong passion for educational equity and innovation. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world with her family and actively supports the integration of the arts in education.

The volunteers assist with the selling, set-up/breakdown, and upkeep of the concessions for shows.
Fundraising:Open
This committee explores and executes fundraising opportunities to financially support PTSA programs and initiatives. This may include community partnerships, donation drives, merchandise sales, or special campaigns.
Hospitality: Open
Oversees and organizes food-related activities for faculty and staff, such as receptions, luncheons, appreciation events, and meals during student/teacher conferences.

Supports efforts of students and teachers to participate in the National PTA art recognition program. This committee will work closely with the Arts staff.
Spirit Wear: Christina Zamon
This team manages inventory, coordinates volunteers to sell spirit wear at school events, and delivers products from online purchases.

Serves as the point of contact for all volunteer needs throughout the year. Assists committee chairs and school event leaders with recruiting, organizing, and communicating with volunteers.
Membership: Open
Leads efforts to increase PTSA membership among parents, students, and staff. Manages member outreach, tracks signups, and promotes the value of joining the PTSA community.
Communications: Sommer Tramble –
Manages PTSA communications across platforms (email, website, social media). Works closely with other chairs to promote events, highlight important dates, and maintain consistent engagement with families.
DCSD Liaison: Beth Krebs –
Serves as the bridge between DSA PTSA and the DeKalb County School District. Stays informed on district-level policies, news, and events and relays important updates to the board and membership.
