Thanks to SGA for sponsoring a fun Red Ribbon Week. The students were very creative with their final costumes on Friday. Now, back to regular dress code: check skirts, shorts, and dresses for fingertip length (students grow taller – clothes do not), ripped pants not allowed, and make sure shoes have back/heel strap.
DSA First Semester Finals will be December 17 &18. Plan accordingly for family trips, etc. No alternative or early finals are allowed.
With the 13.5 grade posting near and the end of first semester fast approaching, students must make sure they are balancing their academic/arts classes assignments and preparations with the extracurricular pursuits. DSA does place a lot of demands on students’ time, but they can handle this challenge if parents continue to monitor rest, proper nutrition, and computer activity. Take time each day to talk with your student about assignments due and any classwork challenges.
