Superintendent Thurmond and representatives from Druid Hills will meet this month to address the issues between DeKalb County Schools and Together In Atlanta (Atlanta annexation movement in Druid Hills). The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce is organizing the meeting in hopes that it will slow the annexation movement and save millions of dollars in legal fees.
……………………………………
The House Governmental Affairs Subcommittee set the boundaries for the proposed cities of La Vista Hills and Tucker. These boundaries are “set in stone” and will not be reconsidered during the legislative session. Details here.
