Important Updates & Reminders

♪ Parents are asked to update address and phone numbers through the Parent Portal. Families will still need to submit an updated Proof of Residency on registration day, but any changes should be made be the family through the portal. The portal will be active on August 12, 2013.

♪ Please call ahead if you are in need of Certificates of Attendance or transcripts.

♪ Mark your calendar – August 7 – 9am to 3pm. DSA Open House and Registration Day!!! New families will receive schedules, join PTSA, and meet teachers. Returning families will do all that plus pick-up registration packets with DSA required forms and submit updated proof of residency. Free and reduced lunch applications will be available that day as well (all families, whether renewing or new to this program, will need to complete 2013-2014 application). See below for volunteer opportunities.

♪ Basic School Supply List: 6-8 2″ three ring binders, notebook paper, #2 pencils, blue/black ink pens, colored pencils, printer paper for student use, thumb/flash drive. Additional items will be listed on individual teacher syllabi at the start of the year.

♪ 2013-2014 School Nutrition Meal Prices: Meal prices for breakfast and lunch for elementary, middle, and high schools.

Volunteers needed for Open House – August 7

We need volunteers for set-up, manning the tables for Spirit Wear, Registration Packets, etc., and break down after the event. Everyone’s help is welcome, including students!!! You can start earning your volunteer hours before school even starts!!!
