Updates and Reminders:
*2016 CCRPI Scores were released this week from the GA Department of Education. DSA’s total school score was 100.4, up from 99.8 for 2015. CCRPI scores factors not only student proficiency on state assessment, but student growth in tested content areas as well. CCRPI scores for all schools can be accessed at the GA Department of Education.
*From Decemer 12 to the end of the semester, there will be no after school activites, except for tutoring. Please make arrangements to pick up students up by 4:00pm.
*Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered this first semester. DSA is so fortunate to have such loyal and dedicated parents to support our school! Many more opportunities are available for second semester.
*Students needing Certificate of Enrollment and/or ADAP certificate for Driver’s Permit/License over winter break, should submit completed form by December 16 to the front office.
*Starting in January, parents will be able to pay for class dues, some field trips, and other items through the DSA webstore. Be on the look out for the link to “go live” at the start of second semester. Junior dues are $200 and Senior dues are $150.
