2012-13 Reflections Program
Get creative. Get recognized.
Reflections is a National PTA art recognition program that encourages students to express their own unique artistic vision around a common theme. “The Magic of a Moment” is the theme for the 2012-2013 Reflections Program.
Students are encouraged to submit new artwork inspired by the theme in any of these six art categories:
- Literature (submit to Mr. Golden)
- Dance Choreography (submit to Mr. Williams)
- Musical Composition (submit to Dr. Bell)
- Photography (submit to Mr. Mastrogiacomo)
- Film/Video Production (submit to Mr. Mastrogiacomo)
- Visual Arts: drawing, painting, print making, and collage (submit to Mrs. Diamond)
Download & print your own official entry form(s) and rules from the links provided below. Submit your artwork, along with your completed entry form(s), to the corresponding teacher(s) above. These forms must be completely filled out, including title, artist statement, and student and parent signatures.
Deadline to submit entries to teachers: October 24, 2012

Judging
All entries will be judged at the school level. The 1st and 2nd place winners for each grade – in each category – will be advanced to the Council (DeKalb County) level, and will have a chance to be advanced to State and National levels.
Don’t Miss It – Reflections Gallery Night November 5, 2012, following the PTSA meeting.
All entries will be showcased at our Gallery Night. Awards will also be presented at this reception. Everyone is invited to attend.
